Content & Marketing Manager

Position Summary

Health Hue is seeking a talented Content & Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media content strategies for our clients in the beauty and aesthetics industry. This role is in office-role with a hybrid schedule, meaning you can work from home but will be expected to work on-site in our office 4-5 days per week (2-3 days in-office after 3 month probation). Our office is located in Toronto, Liberty Village –  147 Liberty St, Toronto, ON M6K 1Y6

As a Content & Marketing Manager, you will oversee content planning, creation, and marketing campaigns for multiple client accounts. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, and work closely with our creative and account management teams to ensure high-quality content and successful marketing outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Content Planning & Development: Plan and develop engaging content calendars for each client, incorporating both video content and static imagery that align with the client’s brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Social Media Post Creation: Create and schedule approximately 14 social media posts per client per month (roughly 10 video posts and 4 static image posts each month). Ensure all content meets quality standards and is optimized for platforms (primarily Instagram, with potential expansion to others as needed).
  • Instagram Stories & Engagement: Produce creative Instagram Stories for each client on a regular basis to complement feed posts and drive audience engagement. Monitor social media channels for comments or messages and engage with the community as needed.
  • Video Production: Dedicate roughly 2 hours per month per client to on-site or remote video production activities. This may include filming short clips at the client’s location, editing videos, and collaborating with videographers or other team members to produce high-quality video content.
  • Email Marketing Content: Design two email newsletter templates per client per month that align with ongoing campaigns. Coordinate with clients to gather any necessary content (promotions, announcements) and ensure the email designs are on-brand and effective.
  • Client Communication & Account Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for your assigned clients. Communicate with clients via email and meetings to present content plans, gather feedback, and provide updates. Build strong relationships by responding promptly to client inquiries and clearly managing expectations.
  • Campaign Coordination: Work with the broader marketing team to coordinate campaign timelines and deliverables. Collaborate on creative concepts for special campaigns or promotions, ensuring that ideas are feasible and aligned with client objectives. Organize brainstorming sessions and share insights on current social media trends to inform content creation.
  • Project Management & Approvals: Use ClickUp (our project management tool) to manage tasks, deadlines, and workflows for all content projects. Assign tasks to creative team members as needed and track progress. Conduct final reviews of all content (quality control) and provide final approval before content is published or sent to clients for approval. Ensure every post or asset has gone through the proper review process and meets our quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Social Media & Content Expertise: Proven experience in social media content creation and marketing (for example, as a content manager, social media manager, or similar role). Deep understanding of platforms like Instagram (Feed, Stories, Reels), Facebook, and emerging trends in social media.
  • Video Creation & Editing: Ability to create engaging short-form video content. Proficiency with basic video filming (iPhone or digital camera) and editing tools/software is required (CapCut). Experience in on-site shooting and directing small video shoots is a plus. 
  • Graphic Design: Strong skills in graphic design for social media. Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools) to create high-quality static posts, infographics, and email templates. An eye for visual aesthetics and detail is important.
  • Communication & Client Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and communicating feedback to the internal team. Experience in client-facing roles or account management is highly valued.
  • Organization & Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage content calendars and multiple projects simultaneously. Experience using project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, or Trello) to track tasks and deadlines. Able to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Collaboration & Creativity: A collaborative team player who can work closely with designers, videographers, and other marketers. Creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas for content and campaigns. Openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, while also being adaptable to in-office teamwork several days a week. Able to adjust to changing social media algorithms, new platform features, or shifts in client strategy as needed.
  • Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing will also be considered.
  • Work Schedule & Environment: This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Health Hue operates with a flexible remote-work policy, but in-office attendance 2–3 times per week is required once training is complete. Our office days are important for team collaboration, content production (especially video shoots or brainstorming sessions), and client meetings when necessary. The specific days for in-office work can be coordinated to balance team needs and your convenience. We foster a supportive, creative work environment that encourages initiative and innovation. All necessary equipment and software access for remote work will be provided during onboarding.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000-55,000 per year starting salary, with a performance based review after 6months. 
  • Overtime Bonus: Eligibility for additional compensation for overtime or extra projects beyond normal duties (for example, significant after-hours video production or event support) as approved by management.
  • Paid Time Off: 14 days of PTO annually, accrued at approximately 1.17 days per month. PTO can be used for vacation, personal days, or sick leave as needed (subject to manager approval and scheduling).
  • Holidays: All statutory public holidays are observed and provided as paid days off, separate from the PTO allowance. A calendar of observed holidays will be provided at the start of employment.
  • Work Expenses: Reimbursement for any work-related travel or expenses (e.g., traveling to client sites for video production) will be provided in accordance with company policy that can be found within the offer letter.
