Our commitment

Health Hue Digital is committed to making our website usable for as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We want everyone who visits healthhuedigital.com to feel welcome and to find the experience clear, navigable, and easy to use. Accessibility is part of how we think about good design, not an afterthought.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible web content. As an Ontario-based business, we also work to meet our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its accessibility standards.

Measures we take

In designing, building, and maintaining the site, we work to:

  • Use clear, readable typography and sufficient colour contrast between text and its background;
  • Provide meaningful text alternatives (alt text) for images that carry information;
  • Support full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link;
  • Structure pages with proper headings, landmarks, and labels so assistive technologies can interpret them;
  • Respect reduced-motion preferences and avoid content that flashes or could trigger discomfort;
  • Build responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels.

Ongoing effort and known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time task. We review the site regularly, test against our target standard, and address issues as we identify them. Some third-party content or embedded tools, such as booking widgets or maps, may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Where that is the case, we work with our partners to improve them or to offer an accessible alternative so you can still reach the information or complete the task.
