What does Weave do better than Health Hue?
The phones. Weave is built around a desk phone system: Yealink handsets in the base plan, Call Pop that shows the caller's name, next appointment and balance as the phone rings, a phone tree, fax, call recordings and voicemail transcription. If a phone system with handsets is the thing you are buying, Weave is built for that and we are not. Health Hue's phone line is a number inside the platform, answered from the inbox or by Hue AI, and the platform is built for clinics where the chart, the stock and the prepaid balance have to agree.
Does Weave chart, or hold the medical record?
Not on any page we read. Weave's Digital Forms page describes intake forms built from templates, with patient data and medical history synced to the patient profile by writeback, and its medical page says it is integrated with leading medical practice management software. The chart, the stock and the prepaid balances live in that other system. In Health Hue the chart is in the platform, and locking it takes the charted units off the recorded lot and draws down the patient's package in the same step.
How much does Weave cost?
As published on getweave.com/plans on 5 October 2026: a base plan starting at $199 a month, a Coordinate bundle at $149 a month for scheduling, forms, reminders and recall, and an Attract bundle at $149 a month for reviews, Text Connect, 10,000 emails and 5,000 bulk texts. All three come to $497 a month. The AI Receptionist is in early access with no price on the page. Weave says it requires no long-term contract and offers discounts on year-long contracts.
Who are Weave's competitors, and is Health Hue one of them?
Weave's direct competitors are the other patient communication platforms sold to dental, optometry and medical offices: the phone system, the two-way texting, the reminders and the review requests, bought on top of the practice software. Health Hue is a different kind of alternative. It replaces the practice software and the website vendor as well as the texting and reminders, with the chart, the inventory and the prepaid balances in the same platform as the inbox. If the phones are the only thing you want to change, compare Weave with its direct competitors. If the number of vendors is the problem, compare it with this.
Does Weave build our website or handle SEO?
Weave's scheduling page describes patients requesting an appointment from your website or your Google listing, which your team then approves, and Text Connect lets a visitor text the office from the site. No Weave page we read describes building or hosting the site, SEO, search pages or Google Business Profile management. Health Hue includes the site and the search pages in the $299 website line and in the $497 and $597 plans, and sets up the ads for a one-time fee.
Does Weave have an AI receptionist?
Yes, in early access. Weave's page says it answers calls and texts around the clock, captures appointment requests for your team to review and schedule, and hands off to staff with a summary. Booking and rescheduling on its own is listed for qualified dental practice systems only, and multilingual support is marked coming soon. Hue AI answers the phone line, web chat, SMS and social DMs, qualifies the enquiry and books directly into the calendar for every clinic. It is $99 a month on its own or inside the $597 all in, and it is not metered.
Can we keep Weave for the phones and use Health Hue for the rest?
Yes. The phone system stays on the desk, and the website, the search pages, the ads and the chart run on Health Hue. We do not claim an integration with Weave: as far as either site shows, Call Pop reads from the practice systems Weave integrates with, and Health Hue is not one of them. Most clinics run the two side by side for a while and then move the front desk when Hue AI is answering the line.
How does a migration work, and what does it cost?
Nothing on our side. Patients, appointment history, packages, memberships, consents and stock come across from the practice software Weave sits on, and you keep running on Weave until you decide to stop. The website and the marketing can go live first, with bookings written to Health Hue and the phones unchanged.
Is the charting good enough to replace a dedicated EMR?
It is the part of the platform we would most like you to inspect rather than take our word for. Injectables, device and wellness each get their own path, consent is tracked with signed and lapse dates, photography consent is signed per session, the diagram is drawn on directly across five angles, lots and expiry are captured on the chart, and charts are signed off with an audit trail. Ask for the demo tenant and chart a real visit in it.
