Morpheus8 · Candidate Check
Am I a candidate for Morpheus8?
Answer 9 quick questions to see if you're likely a good fit, and what to confirm with a provider. Takes about two minutes.
This is an educational self-assessment, not medical advice or a diagnosis. Only a licensed provider can confirm whether Morpheus8 is right for you.
What this quiz checks
The questions follow the same screen a provider runs before booking. Each one maps to a factor that either supports the treatment, argues for a different one, or is a health flag that has to be cleared first.
- What you want to improve and how much skin laxity you have. Morpheus8 is radiofrequency microneedling for mild to moderate laxity, texture and scarring; significant laxity usually calls for something else.
- Your skin tone, which affects settings and how the provider plans the treatment.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, and whether you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or other electronic implant, since the device uses radiofrequency energy.
- Anything active in the treatment area, plus whether the timeline fits: usually two to four sessions, with results that build over weeks to months.
What your result means
A green result means your concern and laxity level sit inside what Morpheus8 is used for and nothing you answered rules it out. A caution result usually means a different treatment may serve you better, or a health flag needs a closer look. A stop result means a contraindication applies and a provider must clear you before treatment.
Whatever the result says, it is a starting point for the conversation with your provider, not a substitute for it. Bring your answers to the consultation so the time goes to planning rather than screening.
How this assessment works & sources
This quiz turns published Morpheus8 candidacy guidance into a simple self-check. It never diagnoses — a licensed provider makes the final call. Guidance is drawn from the device manufacturer and board-certified clinicians:
- Indications, mechanism & skin types — InMode (manufacturer); Julene Samuels, MD FACS
- Sessions (2–4), downtime (a few days), gradual results — Cohn Plastic Surgery
- Realistic expectations / not a facelift replacement — Majestic Aesthetic
- Contraindications (pregnancy, electronic implants, isotretinoin 6-month wait, keloid, active infection, implants in area) — InMode contraindication list
- Skin-tone suitability (Fitzpatrick I–VI) — manufacturer/clinic-asserted, not a cited peer-reviewed study: Dermatology Experts
